ABOUT BEVERLY KIMBLE
Beverly Kimble founded the Dragonfly Institute, in 2003 where organization development consultants and coaches come to learn ways to inspire wholeness in the workplace. She consults to organizations and is an executive coach. She worked 25 years in high-tech software and telecommunication as an executive of internal and external communications before founding her consulting practice of BK & Associates in 1996.
After working with George Mason University from 1999 until 2001 as Director of the program, Coaching and Organizational Learning, Bev's interest in Learning, compelled her to start Dragonfly. Her first-hand knowledge of suffering in the workplace created her desire to guide others in becoming the leaders they want to be. She serves her clients as a systems change consultant, creating safe environments that foster trust, and using experiential and action learning practices that enable participants to become "skilled" observers of themselves and others.
Coaching and Consulting Approach
Bev's consulting approach is to make the learning practical, starting with a solid understanding about where the client is and then to use experiential activity to embody and reinforce the learning. Her experience has born out, that when participants have to work and engage and when the learning experience is over an extended period of time, the results are most effective. As a coach, with individual and groups, she believes in the capacity of the people to lead lives of integrity, to find and cultivate their authentic selves, and to discover and live their calling. She brings the full measure of her experience, intellect, heart, and intuition in service to the personal and professional growth of her clients.
